Shore and Underwater Contaminated Sites
The Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC) is well known for its Federal Contaminated Sites (FCS) Workshops, leading professional development events for federal and industry environmental professionals involved in the management and remediation of federal contaminated sites. Since 2006, the RPIC FCS Workshops have been held in Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Kingston, Halifax and Edmonton. In 2016 RPIC partnered with SuRF Canada and hosted the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Remediation (SustRem) alongside the RPIC FCS National Workshop in Montreal, Quebec. This partnership brought record attendance from all over the world and specialized content from SustRem presenters.
The next regional edition of RPIC’s Federal Contaminated Sites Workshop is scheduled for June 6-7, 2017 and is heading to the west coast for the first time since the 2008 National Workshop. This Workshop will provide a forum for the contaminated sites community to learn about technical, scientific and organizational innovations, and best practices for the management of shore and underwater contaminated sites. The Workshop will offer a unique opportunity for the public, private, and academic sectors to meet and exchange new ideas and information with colleagues and industry representatives from across the country and abroad.
See you in Richmond!
