What is the Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC) and the Real Property National Workshop?

The Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC) is a not-for-profit association whose goal is to develop and foster a high professional standard of real property management within the federal public sector, and to provide a forum for information exchange and continuous improvement.

The 2009 Real Property National Workshop is the highlight of Federal Real Property Week (November 23-27, 2009) whose objective is to increase awareness of the importance of real property in support of the federal government’s plans and priorities. This year’s theme is “Real Property in Real Time”. The theme creates an opportunity for the real property community to: unite and take stock of what is working; assess how our people are coping; determine what are the leading tools and approaches to help us move forward; and, to learn how to best navigate these challenging times.
