2012 RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop
April 30 – May 3, 2012
Allstream Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

What is RPIC and the RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop?

The Real Property Institute of Canada (RPIC) was created in 1998 to develop and foster a high professional standard of real property management within the Federal Public Sector, and to provide a forum for information exchange and continuous improvement.

The RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop is the leading professional development event for federal and industry environmental professionals involved in the management and remediation of federal contaminated sites.

Following the success of the 2006, 2008 and 2010 National Workshops in Ottawa, Vancouver and Montreal, the 2012 National Workshop heads to Toronto and will offer a wide variety of opportunities to learn about technical, operational and organizational challenges to the effective management and remediation of federal contaminated sites, as well as new approaches and techniques to address them.

The RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites Workshop connects industry suppliers and public sector contaminated sites managers and remediation specialists together like no other professional development event in the country. Dedicated exposition hours on the exhibit floor reinforce RPIC’s commitment to those who showcase their products and services. With over 600 attendees at the event, put your company front and center to those who are responsible for the management of federal contaminated sites.

Who Attends the RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop?

Every two years, over 600 delegates come to the Workshop prepared to learn more about current trends, best practices and innovative solutions to the management and remediation of federal contaminated sites. This year, with the National Workshop heading to Toronto, anticipated numbers could reach nearly 700 attendees. Connect your organization with these federal managers and remediation specialists, representing all major departmental custodians of federal real property, provincial and municipal levels of the public service, academia and the private sector.

The federal contaminated sites community is collectively responsible for the management of over 20,000 federal contaminated sites, with sites located in every province and territory across Canada. The RPIC Federal Contaminated Sites National Workshop provides an ideal opportunity for both specialists and non-specialists to explore a variety of current issues that impact the federal government’s management and remediation of federal contaminated sites.
